A new economy model fuel tank sending unit featuring a conventional float arm arrangement has also been released. Two new automotive single terminal temperature senders have been added to the range. These units are economy versions of our heavy duty automotive senders and will prove popular because of the competitive pricing. More information is available here.
July 2003 – Change of Name
The change coincides with a decision to co-jointly produce a range of new instrument senders for the automotive market, which will complement the existing range. These senders will replace several of the items which are currently being outsourced.
A new logo has been designed to reflect the name change and visitors to our web site can now also locate our domain at www.turotest.com.au. Our new email address is mail@turotest.com.au, however our existing address can still be used indefinitely.
Turotest Australia Pty Ltd continues to grow and the recent changes will supports our ongoing commitment to the brand in the Australian market.
May 2002 - New Web Site - TT
The new web site has a vastly improved design with greater emphasis on simplicity. Navigation has been improved considerably and all product lines now have a separate pop-up window with full screen shots of each item including descriptions. All code numbers are now available on line, to improve product accessibility and expedite enquiries. Future improvements will include downloadable and printable PDF files on individual items (June 2002) including brochures and wiring/installation diagrams.
March 2002 - New Packaging
The new blister 'clamshell' packs have signaled the end of the traditional cardboard box style that Turotest have maintained for so long. The contemporary styling of the new packaging has much broader appeal, greatly improving the presentation through increased visibility. The new packaging also provides better protection and lengthens the overall shelf life of the product. The change is a welcome one by Turotest's major distributors who have given it the 'thumbs up,' citing the product not only looks and feels much better, but also has a greater retail appeal. The packaging is easily distinguishable, utilizing Turotest's standard green/black colours for automotive products, and blue/white colours for the popular stainless steel marine line. The standard packaging for instrument senders remains unchanged.
